Edged Weapon Awareness Workshop

Dealing with Specific Threats

We’re excited to announce the next instalment of our highly regarded Edged Weapon Workshop series! This time, we’ll be focusing on recognising and responding to specific edged weapon threats, building practical, scenario-based skills that could make all the difference in a real-life confrontation.

Following the success of our previous workshops, this session shifts the focus from general concepts to targeted threat responses – equipping you with the awareness, mindset, and tactical understanding needed to stay safe under pressure.

What to Expect:

  • Identify Common Threat Scenarios: Understand the most likely edged weapon attacks and how to respond.
  • Improve Your Tactical Awareness: Learn to spot pre-attack cues and reduce risk before a situation escalates.
  • Build Practical Defence Skills: Train responses that work under stress, including evasion, redirection, and countermeasures.

This workshop is suitable for all experience levels and is open to members aged 14+. Whether you’re attending your first self-defence event or building on previous training, this session will offer new insights and essential skills.

Important Details:

  • Dress Code: Street casual (no doboks). Shin guards or forearm protectors are recommended.
  • Limited Places Available: These workshops fill up fast, so early booking is strongly advised.

Don’t miss this chance to level up your self-defence training with focused, reality-based learning. Book your place today and walk away more prepared, aware, and confident.

This workshop is open free of charge to all eligible Holistic Tae Kwon-Do members. If you are not a member and would like to attend, please drop us an email to express your interest.
